Youth gunned down over dispute about song played at marriage ceremony

RAWALPINDI: A police volunteer gunned down a youth after a dispute over the song played during a marriage ceremony within the jurisdiction of Taxila police.

According to media reports, a row occurred between Kashif, resident of HMC Road and Tasawor Qureshi, resident of Muhallah Warrian, when Kashif asked the dance party to perform a dance to the tune of a song of his choice.

Following exchange of harsh words, Kashif who was drunk, pulled out his pistol and opened fire on Tasawor, killing him on the spot. He fled the scene.

Police have registered a case against the suspect and started conducting raids for his arrest.
