LAHORE: Lahore Mayor Col (r) Mubashir Javed has directed all towns of the Metropolitan Corporation Lahore (MCL) to massively and indiscriminately carry out crackdowns against keeping animals in banned and prohibited Union Councils (UC) of the provincial capital.
Mubashir disclosed that it is the vision of Punjab Chief Minister (CM) Shehbaz Sharif to provide up to mark and standardised life style to the citizens and he would play his role for the materialisation of the vision of the CM.
“There are problems of dirtiness, abundance of mosquitoes and bees in those UCs, where animals are being kept by some citizen and there eviction is necessary from banned UCs to maintain cleanliness. All TMOs, must take indiscriminate action and submit report of it to Mayor on daily basis till the complete eviction of animals,” the mayor Lahore added.
Moreover, he also directed MO (Regulation) to collect report from officials concerned on daily basis and to maintain complete check and balance.
