The officials of team placed an entry in the Daily Registered of their relevant office that they were leaving the Office to arrest a person named in an enquiry been registered with the circle.

Instead of taking the detained Person to the FIA ; the Circle team took him to a private spot where they interrogated him and recorded his video as well.

This raid was conducted in plainclothes and two other people who were not the part of FIA presented themselves as FIA officers as well which included a terminated FIA official nominated in a corruption case and the other one is a Private Employee.

The sources while giving details about the detained person informed that he was an approver in 22 important corruption cases against some highly influential personalities of country and FIA team kept harassing him and compelling him to change his statements and also inquired about the details regarding Former FIA officials of FIA ACC Circle Sindh including former Deputy Director Faqeer Muhammad and AD Anwar Qureshi about the amount of bribe they took to make him an approver .

On the other hand the Family of detainee was under immense dejection and stress because when they contacted the FIA officials to inquire about him the refused about his presence with them.

According to the source at that point brother of the abducted citizen approached his friend Tariq brother of Governer Sindh Zubair Ahmed khan to help him in this matter.

On the enquiry from Governor Sindh, initially the officials of FIA Sindh refused of any such arrest since it could not be conformed even after circulating a message to all Circles regarding any information about such arrest.

After that the family members of the approver examined the footages of CCTV Cameras which were installed at the Approver’s offices and it was noticed that the vehicle used for raid is being seen in the parking in front of FIA Office situated in sadder around 10 PM and the raid was conducted around 11 AM.

Moreover the CDR data of detained approver’s Cell Phone, suggested that the person who called earlier to meet him the office was continuously in contact with the one person of the raiding team. When these all facts was put in-front of FIA Officials in Karachi and in Islamabad by Governor Sindh then there was no option left but to accept the truth.

Instead of conducting an enquiry against the team which was involved in the illegal proceedings the Additional Director Asim Qaim khani directed the officer in charge of the circle not to show any arrest in the official record and directed the team to produced the Approver in his office on 6 march where he was again interrogated that how did he manage to be an approver in FIA cases as he was also involved in corruption. After being detained for at least 24 hours he was released but no action has been taken against the team instead the matter is being hushed up.

The same questions being asked by the FIA raiding team and later by the Director FIA suggest that the illegal detention and abduction was a result of approval from high ups, sources concluded.
