California: Drake has lashed out a country club located California’s La Quinta, accusing it of ‘racial profiling’.

The Canadian rapper, who gave a surprise performance during Future’s Saturday night set, took to Instagram in a since-deleted post to allege The Madison Club had treated him badly.

“The most offensive place I have ever stayed at in my life with staff who pick and choose who they are going to accommodate based on racial profiling,” he captioned the post which showed the luxury club’s logo.

The 30-year-old’s post was soon flooded with comments, including one from the club itself.

“We are very sorry for the inconvenience and we will be issuing out a formal apology to you and the public. We will also be investigating this as we do not tolerate racial discrimination.”

After Drake shared his post, a number of his fans headed over to the club’s Yelp profile to leave their own opinions.

One even quoted his lyrics, writing: “The staff here showed fake love straight up to my face.

“They gotta know I’m more than just an option. Just hold on, I’m going home.”

Mirror Celebs contacted The Madison Club who said they had “no comment”.
