PESHAWAR: Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) has carried out a search operation on Ring road Peshawar and apprehended an alleged abductor and extortionist.Sources said that CTD during search operation nabbed one suspect, Gulab Mir, hailing from Bar Qamar Khail Bara Khyber Agency from Pashghara Chowk on ring road.

It was said that the suspect had kidnapped son of X for ransom in 1999 and extorted Rs 900000 as ransom money, He also kidnapped one Dr Inayat for ransom and extorted Rs 40, 00,000 from him.
He also kidnapped one Sher Afghan for ransom in 2002 and extorted Rs 1200000 as ransom from him.
A boy was also abducted by him from Yakka Toot in 2014 and was set free after he had received Rs 5000000 ransom money.The suspect was wanted to different police stations including Hayat Abad, Tatara and Yakha Toot in different criminal cases.
