Infamous criminal apprehended in injured condition

LARKANA: Police on Wednesday claimed to have arrested a notorious criminal Nawab Kalhoro as a result of a raid.

On the directives of SSP Larkana, Umar Tufail, SHO Waleed police station, Athar Ali Channa, conducted a raid on a tip-off, where an encounter took place between the police and the criminal.

During the exchange of firing, police arrested most wanted criminal Nawab Kalhoro in injured condition and recovered one shotgun and cartridges from his possession.

The arrested criminal was also involved in a house robbery in the year 2010, he was also involved in another high profile robbery case of coach looting on Indus Highway when the coach was heading to Karachi from Larkana in 2015.

In the year 2016, he snatched motorcycle from a complainant in which victim received bullet injuries, police stated.

The suspect was apprehended and investigations were started into the matter.
