Plastic expo starts today at Karachi Expo

KARACHI: Three-day Pak Plas – The International Exhibition of Plastic Machinery, Equipment, Raw Material & Technology having participation of around 80 national and international leading brands will commence today (Friday) April 21st at Karachi Expo Centre.

President, Federation of Pakistan Chamber of Commerce & Industry (FPCCI) Zubair F. Tufail will inaugurate the expo which will continue till April 23rd. This is the only exclusive and dedicated plastic and packaging exhibition which is held at par with international standards having separate halls for machinery and raw materials. Pak Plas is successfully organized by Pakistan Plastics Manufacturers Association (PPMA).

PPMA is aimed to give boost to the plastic processing and manufacturing industry locally and internationally. The association kept its momentum by round the year activities to facilitate, boost, educate and protect the interest of plastic business in Pakistan as well as abroad in all forums, told by PPMA Chairman Ehtesham Uddin, Senior Vice Chairman Khalid Masood and Vice Chairman Shoaib Munshi in a statement issued here on Thursday. PAKPLAS International Expo – 2017 will offer a comprehensive overview of all plastics products parts, moulds, equipments, plastic machinery, technology and plastic raw material for the production and improvement of plastics product and industry, Chairman PPMA told.

Ehtesham Uddin was of the view that in a short span of time Pakistan has progressed tremendously and is considered among the global competitors.
