Furious bees sting nine trainee cops

LARKANA: Infuriated honey bees, stung as many as nine trainee cops at the Police Training Center here on Friday morning and as a result the trainees were rushed to a local hospital.

The police officers in training were busy parading as part of their final exams, when a gust of wind hit and displaced a bee hive on a nearby eucalyptus tree which resulted in the swarm attacking the nearest thing possible.

They were finally rescued and rushed to the Accident & Emergency Center of the Chandka Medical College Hospital in police uniforms for treatment.

The duty doctors provided them emergency treatment and their condition was declared out of danger.

The affected cops included Dildar, Rabail, Ali Raza, Saddam Hussain and several others.
