SC’s verdict in Panama Papers case vindicates PM’s stance: Raja Zafarul Haq

Author: PPI

ISLAMABAD: Leader of the House in the Senate Raja Zafarul Haq has said that the Supreme Court’s decision in Panama case has vindicated the stance of the prime minister.

Talking to media outside the Parliament House in Islamabad on Friday, he expressed the confidence that our opponents will continue to face humiliation in future as the PML -N will emerge victorious at every forum.

Raja Zafarul Haq regretted the PPP’s attitude during the proceedings of the Upper House on Friday.

He said the PPP has rejected the Joint Investigation Team to be constituted on the orders of the Supreme Court.

Raja Zafarul Haq, however, said his party will follow the instructions of the apex court and every decision will be taken in accordance with the law.

Responding to a question, Raja Zafarul Haq said the opposition has no justification to demand the prime minister’s resignation.

Speaking on the occasion, Minister of State for Water and Power Abid Sher Ali said the PPP has never accepted the judgments of the apex court.

He said Thursday’s decision of the Supreme Court reflects the aspirations of the people of the country.
