ISLAMABAD: Union Council Kala Shadian Chairman Jamshed Tarar was shot dead late on Thursday. Tarar was returning home in his car along with his security guards. “Unidentified gunmen opened fire on his vehicle near Jagon Kalan. Tarar died on the spot, while his two security guards Qamar and Sikandar were injured,” police said. A police team, headed by Qadirabad SHO Altaf Hussain, reached the spot and brought the deceased and injured to Tehsil Headquarters Hospital. A case has been registered.
Man shot dead: A man was shot dead in Naseerabad Police precincts on Friday. SHO Raja Nadeem said that unidentified gunmen called Javed Khan out of his house and shot him dead in Naseerabad. The body was taken to a hospital for medico-legal formalities. Police have registered a case.
Young man murdered: A young man was shot dead on Friday in Saddar Baironi Police precincts. Asad Islam lodged a complaint with police that his brother Amjad Islam had married a girl without the consent of her family two months ago. “When the parents of the girl came to know that she had married Amjad, they took her back to Kohat. On Friday, the girl’s father, Samar Gull, along with his accomplices, shot and killed Amjad,” Asad said. Police have registered a case.
