Teachers hold protest for regularisation

HYDERABAD: Sindh University (SU) graduates and NTS test passed teachers held a protest demonstration against the announcement of Sindh government on their regularisation issue.

More than 21,500 male and female teachers from more than 8 districts of Hyderabad, Dadu, Badin, Thatta, Tando Muhammad Khan, Tando Allahyar, Matiari, Tharparkar and Umerkot participated in the protest.

Ali Nawaz Phenwar, convener of NTS Teachers Action Committee, alleged that Sindh government was not doing justice; and their problems had led to students hailing from different areas of Sindh going away from education.
