LARKANA: The parents of an abducted girl, Fazila Sarki, members of civil society and Sarki community staged a demonstration in front of Bhutto mausoleum in Garhi Khuda Bakhsh on World Human Rights Day.

Fazila’s mother, Sakina Sarki, father Abdul Razak Sarki, former adviser Sindh government Ghulam Sarwar Sarki, Haji Sikander Ali Sarki while talking to local journalists said that Benazir Bhutto, after her return from self-imposed exile, had promised them she would help recover their daughter after coming into power. They said that they had come to remind Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Aseefa Bhutto Zardari and Bakhtawar Bhutto Zardari to act on their mother’s commitment.

They said that PPP leaders should ask Sindh government as to why they have not yet recovered Fazila despite ruling Sindh for the last ten years. They claimed that government and police knew who kidnapped and sold Fazila. They said that Sindh IGP AD Khawaja and Jacobabad SSP were also aware of these issues. They said police was unnecessarily harassing people by raiding their houses under the disguise of working to find Fazila.
