Chief Justice Nisar hears Bani Gala case

ISLAMABAD: A three member bench of the Supreme Court of Pakistan headed by the Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar will hear a case regarding unauthorised and illegal development in the area of Bani Gala on Monday.

The Chief Justice of Pakistan had taken a suo moto notice over a letter written by the Pakistan Tahreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan to draw court’s attention towards the municipal lawlessness in the area of Bani Gala.

Meanwhile, a comprehensive report on the part of Capital Development Authority (CDA) has already been submitted in the Supreme Court.

The three member bench included Chief Justice Mian Saqib Nisar as head of the bench while Justice Umer Ata Bandial and Justice Ijaz ul Ahsan are its members.
