Anti-corruption seminar organised in Bahawalpur

BAHAWALPUR: Anti-Corruption Establishment Bahawalpur on Saturday organised a walk and seminar to mark International Anti-Corruption Day. A seminar was held at the Islamia University of Bahawalpur. District and Sessions Judge Ch Tariq Javid was the chief guest while District Police Officer Cap (r) Mustansar Feroze, Mayor Aqeel Najam Hashmi, and Anti-Corruption Establishment Bahawalpur Regional Director Muhammad Imran Raza were also present.

District and Sessions Judge Ch Tariq Javid said that everyone should play their role in elimination of corruption from society. He urged the youth to contribute towards society’s development by playing their part in fight against corruption.

Speakers stressed that we have to eliminate corruption from Pakistan for the sake of the nation and coming generations.

Meanwhile, a public awareness walk was held to mark the International Anti-Corruption Day. Participants chanted slogans against corruption and urged the society to come forward for its eradication. Addressing the walk, Anti-Corruption Establishment Bahawalpur Regional Director Imran Raza said corruption has crippled the society and public must contribute to get rid of the menace of corruption.
