PESHAWAR: Two-day conference on “Khushal Khan Vision and Today” was kicked off with poetic session on the mausoleum of Khushal Khan Baba, Esori Bala about six kilometers away from the Grand Trunk Road of district Nowsehra.
The event was hosted by the volunteer intellectual of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa where 22 member of “Khushal Khan Think Tanker Moment” of Afghanistan from different rush of life include media, civil society and Professors dragged his vision to visit and attend conference.
In conference, among the volunteer intellectuals from the other side of the boarder also include participant from Quetta and Islamabad, who?stayed for the two days in Akora Khttak to discussed cross border issues, Promote Peace, Unity, Literary, and tribute their mutual heroes.
Pushtun should be unite, and together we can make an effort for Peace and Unity, these are the words of Nowra Jan Baher, participant from Khost, Afghanistan. 35 years old is an afghan Poet and Journalist says that, this kind of exchange for the promotion of literature and language will help us to improve the standard of Pushtu Literature on both side of the durned line.
In such kind of conferences in Pakistan, if we found any thing missing that we don’t have in afghan literature, we will make include them in course in academic as Khushal Khan Poetry has been included in curriculum at school, college and university levels in Afghanistan, Baher added.
He drag attention towards the sinking Pashtu literature and language, says that, The Pashtu literature is going to die. Intellectual should come forward from both side to save and make change, he added.
He commented on the recent tension of both neighboring country, says that, if we make one voice for the unity and promote exchange programs on both sides, it will create pressure on the governments for the restoration of Peace and Unity, Afghan Poet added.
The participants discussed in detail the philosophy, vision and bravery of Khushal Khan Khattak. They also discussed the efforts of Khushal Baba for the promotion of education and unity among Pashtoons.
Majority of participants were of the view that solution to all the problems being faced today lies in unity of Pashtoons.
Among like many other Shafiq Giggyani, Member of Civil Society and Peace Activist from Peshawar Pakistan says that “Pakistan and Afghanistan are two different countries but culturally and strategically connected. We the Pakistanis Pashtuns have same problems and issues as they have in Afghanistan.
He lamented about the recent force back of afghan refugees from Pakistan, says that, this kind of conferences including cross culture a ray of hope to reduce tension and hate among the citizen of both sides.
He suggested Culture and Tourism Department of Khyber Pukhtunkhwa to arrange such kind of conferences and exchange programs for Intellectuals on government level for the documentation and promotion of Pushtu language, Peace and Unity, Gigyani added.
