In the map of the world, Nepal looks like a very small country but it consists of a lot of things to experience. Nepal is a federal democratic republic and a landlocked country bordering China in the north and India in the south, east and west. It is the largest sovereign Himalayan state in South Asia. If you love to travel and want to experience a number of ridiculously adventurous things to do and Nepal is yet not in your list of places to visit, you are certainly missing out on something great. As my experience tells me, Pakistani people are more lively and adventurous so they will find Nepal as a suitable destination to explore their adrenaline rushes. I can assure you once will not be enough to explore the rich beauty of this country.
Pakistan is rich in its own history, culture and natural heritage. Likewise, Nepal also presents it’s architecturally, culturally and naturally rich heritage sites but in a different style and design. UNESCO has listed 10 world heritage sites of Nepal. Chitwan National Park and Sagarmatha National Park are listed by UNESCO as natural world heritage sites. Similarly, seven sites in Kathmandu Valley, counted together as one, and Lumbini (the birthplace of Lord Buddha), are listed as cultural world heritage sites by UNESCO.
Pakistan has unique and different types of geographical features which includes deserts, mountain ranges, a sea and plain fertile land, but in the case of Nepal we come across a landlocked country surrounded by huge Himalayan ranges along with green mountains and plain lands. Where Pakistan has K2, the second highest mountain in the world, in Nepal’s case in question we cannot forget the pride of the nation, the highest peak in the world, Mt. Everest. Everest’s beauty and height attracts millions of tourists every year from all over the world. This is a nation with natural diversity, flora and fauna, thousands of rivers and the world’s most magnificent naturally created lakes. In simple words we can say that Nepal is one of the most beautiful places in the world and is a piece of heaven on earth.
Nepal is called a paradise for the adventure lovers, and of course, with more adventure there’s more fun. Nepal offers stunning mountainous regions and distinctive trekking trails, jungle safaris, bungee jumping, canyon swings, para hawking, sky diving over the Mt. Everest, zip flying, waterfall ice climbing and many more. Each of these adventures will surely stimulate anyone’s mind, body and soul and give one fascinating tales to tell, an experience of a lifetime and a profound sense of accomplishment.
Nepalese food and culture are quite different and unique than that of Pakistan. Pakistani people love to have spicy, oily and sizzling foods while Nepalese cuisines comprise a variety of cuisines based on ethnicity and geography. These particularly include dal, bhat, tarkari and achar (eaten twice a day throughout Nepal). If you are in Nepal then you can’t miss to have ‘momo’ (dumpling), one of the most popular dishes in Nepal. A socially, culturally and religiously diverse Nepal consists of a population of 81% Hindus, 10% Buddhists and 4% Muslims. It is a small country with unity amongst diversity. Their old and traditional cultures are magnificent which always welcomes people to join them.
Pakistan is an Islamic country where 97% of the people follow Islam. It has numerous ethnic groups and its own culture. Resultantly, Nepal will be a different and contrasting nation to explore and experience. The art of Nepal is mainly influenced by Hinduism and Buddhism and from nature. Beautiful handicrafts, wooden crafts, stone carvings and sculptures have been fascinating people for hundreds of years. No wonder Nepal is known as a “land of festivals”. Each day is a day of celebration for one community or the other.
