FJMU holds White Coat ceremony

LAHORE: A White Coat ceremony was organised at the Fatima Jinnah Medical University (FJMU) for the newly enrolled students of MBBS first year on Wednesday. Prof. Khalid Masood Gondal, Vice Chancellor Fatima Jinnah Medical University was the Chief Guest. On this occasion, Prof. Sharrien Khawar, Registrar, Prof. Manzoor Ahmed, Dean, Prof. Asima, Prof. Kamran Khalid Khawaja, Dr. Farzana Sajjad, members of Academic Council and the parents of students were present. Vice Chancellor FJMU welcomed the new enrolled students and congratulated them for the beginning of new medical profession. He said this is the day to pledge to become the savior of humanity. This is the only profession through which the success in this world and hereafter can be achieved. He advised to the newly enrolled students that we have to abide by our oath of profession throughout our life. “With the team spirit and the best performance of our students and teachers we would make this university among one of the best universities of the world.” On this occasion, he also assured the parents of the newly enrolled students that they would be turned into better doctors as well as better human beings.
