Federal Capital, Punjab and Kashmir hit by rain

ISLAMABAD: Rain-thunderstorm occurred at scattered places in upper Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, Islamabad, Punjab, Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan during last twelve hours.Rawalpindi received 21 mm rain, Murree 19 mm and Islamabad 17 mm rain.

Rawalpindi received 21 mm rain, Murree 19 mm and Islamabad 17 mm rain.Rain with dust-thunderstorm, associated with gusty winds and hailstorms, is expected at scattered places in Islamabad, Punjab, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Kashmir, Gilgit-Baltistan and at isolated places in Quetta, Zhob, Sibbi and Naseerabad divisions during next twelve hours.

However, hot and dry weather is likely to prevail elsewhere in the country.

The temperature of some major cities recorded on Monday morning was as follows: Islamabad 17 degree centigrade, Lahore 19, Karachi 26, Peshawar 18, Quetta eight, Gilgit 12, Murree nine and Muzaffarabad 13 degree centigrade.
