KARACHI: The greenback remained flat against the rupee in the interbank market on dull demand by importers, said treasurers.
The greenback closed at Rs 104.50 for buying and Rs 104.70 for selling, they added.
The rupee is likely to remain firm because of the insignificant demand by the corporate sector for its import payments. Banks are capable to meet their demand, which keeps the rupee’s value firm.
The euro closed at Rs 112.50 for buying and Rs 112.70 for selling, gaining 50 paisas.
