Younis has a remarkable career and has achieved many distinctions in his outstanding 116 Test career spanning over 17 years. Although, Pakistan has a very low annual rate of Test playing yet Younis has tremendous record in the test cricket. He has scored 10,000 runs that include 1,000 or more runs against four different countries. West Indies will be the fifth country, if he scores 63 more runs against her in the current tour. The veteran player has the highest average any Pakistani could ever have in Test cricket (53.06). A triple century (313) and five double centuries enrich his score card. His 34 hundreds in 207 innings speak volume about his dedication and devotion to his play. The 6th most in Test cricket by any player.
