Man shot dead over row

RAWALPINDI: A man was shot dead in the jurisdiction of Chontra Police on Monday.

Asmat Mehmood, brother of the victim lodged a complaint with police, stating that his brother Arshad Mehmood, along with his friend Amir Shahzad, was sitting in his house. “Malik Muhammad Afzal, Malik Faisal and Ahtasham came there and opened fire on his brother and his friend. They had earlier exchanged harsh words with him over a minor dispute,” he said. Police have registered a case and are investigating.

Separately, a woman school teacher was abducted from Murree. Muhammad Usman reported to Murree police that his sister, who taught at Government Elementary School, went to school, but did not return home. He suspected that Fahd, Haroon, Shahzad and Nasir had abducted his sister.
