Terrorist killed in Karachi

KARACHI: A terrorist was killed and another arrested after Rangers raided a hideout in Urdu Bazaar area on Monday. Four Rangers were also injured as the terrorists hurled grenades at them.

Two passersby, including a teenager, were also injured. The paramilitary force raided an apartment on Muqaddas Street in the bazaar. A Sindh Rangers spokesman said a terrorist was arrested, with the other barricading himself in a room. He was later killed in the shootout. The terrorists lobbed two grenades which injured two soldiers, added the spokesperson. Preedy SHO Aurangzeb Khattak said the Rangers raided the hideout on a tip about the presence of suspects. Three suspects, including a woman, were reportedly taken into custody.
