The positions holders were also awarded gold medals. Governor Sindh Muhammad Zubair was the chief guest on the occasion. Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah also attended the convocation as his daughter was among the graduates.
Addressing the occasion, Governor Sindh said that AKU along with Institute of Business Administration (IBA) was one of the finest institutes in the country, and was a symbol of pride for Pakistan. He said that AKU gave special consideration to all students, and congratulated the graduates and their parents.
The governor expressed satisfaction over the educational standards at the university which he said signified that the educational system was in safe hands. He announced that a special reception will be held at the Governor House for the position holders. AKU President Feroze Rasul addressed the occasion and congratulated the graduating students.
