ISLAMABAD: Awami Muslim League (AML) Chairperson Sheikh Rashid Ahmed has said that PPP and PTI cannot go side by side.
He said this while addressing journalists outside the Parliament House on Tuesday.
“Every political party has its own agendas and every political party will contest individually in the upcoming general elections,” he said. He further said that the rumours and speculation of an alliance between PTI, PPP and other political parties are baseless. He added, “It is impossible for a political party to adopt the other party’s agendas, ignoring its own.”
He predicted that the general elections will be held in 2017 and the current government will not see the year 2018.
