High road to fashion

Author: Haider Rifaat

As the leading label for menswear, Amir Adnan has upped his fashion game, this time in Karachi after the launch of his new store in Bahadurabad in mid-November.

The event was followed by an exquisite fashion flash mob, exhibiting unique designs from Amir Adnan’s latest clothing line ranging from formal wear to eastern wear, causal tops and monochrome white, black and sorbet hues. Simply put, the launch was entertaining as 50 male models walked the red carpet in Adnan’s latest designer wear and owned each style.

Adnan’s store launch was the talk of the town, so to say. He is known for reinventing traditional menswear while incorporating modern textures in the process. According to a few sources, Adnan’s loyal clientele attended the event. The store’s ambience and setting was spot on and the guests were welcomed hospitably. The designs were progressive and well executed. The details were kept simple however the fabrics were not compromised in terms of quality and value.

The whole idea of organising the event was bringing people together and attesting that street fashion has its place in the fashion sphere. Furthermore, the flash mob intends to unite fashion enthusiasts and shun the stereotype that fashion shows in Pakistan cannot be attended by masses or large groups of people. One of the aims of the launch was enabling a constructive dialogue among people who appreciate good clothes; at the same time, the clients can learn better about the latest trends in fashion, which they can draw inspiration from.

Adnan’s stellar collection is everything that men need at the present moment. Needless to say that fashion is not merely limited to the elites. The foundation for launching the new store and conducting the fashion flash mob was involving people from all walks of life who admire style, glamour and affordability. It seemed quite evident that the show was well received by Adnan’s clients and guests and did not fall short of praise. I, for one strongly believe that whatever Adnan invests his heart in, winds up a success. His approach to fashion and designing is one of a kind. Instead of relying on monotonous fads for menswear, Adnan yet again manages to express his creativity at an acclaimed launch in Karachi, rightly so reflected in his work.
