MALAKAND: Former President and People’s Party Pakistan (PPP) Co-chairman Asif Ali Zardari has asserted that the country’s leadership is deeply involved in all businesses from poultry to electricity and all resources are controlled by one family.

While addressing public gatherings at Malakand and Sakha Khail, Asif Ali Zardari said that no one dared to give identity to Pakhtuns but it was PPP who did this job.

He stated that it is a huge crime to block CNICs of Pakhtuns and he strongly condemns the move.

“If our party came into power in next general election we would give due rights to Pakhtuns”, he added.

PPP Co-Chairman further explained that PPP raised national flag first time in Swat and had launched military operation against terrorists. He added that Swat’s people have made a lot of sacrifices for peace. It was Bibi shaheed’s dream to restore peace in Swat.

“One politician calls himself Pakhtun but he is a fake Pakhtun”, Zardari stated.

Zardari chanted ‘Go Imran Go’ slogans. He added that the philosophy of Prime Minister is responsible for killing of Mashal Khan.

The former president claimed that the PPP will form its government in all four provinces including Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in next general election and then all the plunderers will be behind the bars.

He added that PM should tender his resignation on moral grounds though he informed that he knows Sharif very well and he will not resign till the last extent, but PPP’s struggle will continue till the fulfilment of demand.

Zardari promised to double the funds for the BISP if his party would come to power in next polls because the PPP is a party of poor people and it will continue endeavouring for the uplift and prosperity of the common man.
