ISLAMABAD: State Minister for Broadcasting Maryam Aurangzeb said that due to better government policies, terror related incidents have declined considerably in the country during the last four years.

While addressing a ceremony of Pakistan Association Tourism Operators held on Tuesday, the minister said, “Before the government of PML-N, terrorism was rampant. Several blasts occurred daily. Now the back of the terrorists have been broken due to better policies of our government. A remarkable decrease can be observed in the incidents of terrorism today. However more work has yet to be done.”

She observed that revival of tourism since the last two years is a positive movement forward. She opined that the private sector should come forward and invest in the field of tourism.”Now science has ventured into tourism business,” she observed.

She urged that tourism should be promoted according to modern needs and circumstances.

She further added, “Our armed forces, law enforcement agencies and nation are the most valiant nation in the world.”

She said, “Pakistani media had always played positive role for promotion of positive image of Pakistan.”
