ISLAMABAD: Azad Jammu Kashmir (AJK) President Sardar Masood Khan condemned Indian Occupation Forces for using brutal force against students in Srinagar and attack on nomadic families by Hindu extremists.

He also condemned killings of two youths by the Indian Occupation Forces in Budgam District. The president made these remarks while speaking to a delegation led APHC Syed Faiz Naqashbandi.

Masood said that India wanted to intimidate youth and students who were demanding liberty and right to self-determination. He said that India was targeting campuses of educational institutions to harass and to persecute unarmed girls and boys studying in colleges and schools.

“Kashmiri youth will not be cowed down by such cowardly attacks. They have reason and would not relent until Kashmiris rights are fully respected and protected”, the president said.

He said that the people of Kashmir express full solidarity with their brothers and sisters in the occupied Kashmir and would continue to give their unstinted moral, political and diplomatic support to the Kashmiris.

He said that India should discard the path of violence and war and cooperate with Kashmiris and Pakistan to explore a political resolution of Jammu Kashmir dispute.
