Minister urges common proposal should be prepared to eliminate extremism

ISLAMABAD: Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Sardar Yousaf announced that disagreements among the public are the main reason due to which even the super powers are also destroyed.

While speaking at the National Ulema, Mashaikh Council meeting on Tuesday in Islamabad, the minister asked Ulemas to get united in preparing a joint proposal to eliminate extremism, so that a peaceful environment could be created in Pakistan for citizens to whichever sect or religion they are affiliated.

Pakistan is suffering through worst kind of terrorism at present and we need to join hands and develop a common policy to get rid of terrorism menace. We have to identify reasons and find solutions to sectarian affiliation’s differences, eliminate them permanently from its roots.

He said that when disagreement exceeds certain level then it causes destruction and demolition of great nations. He insisted the council members to use their services and experience to play a positive part in ending extremism and differences of sectarian, so that peaceful atmosphere could be created for every citizen living in the country.
