ISLAMABAD: Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah said that no action will be taken against those who are actually involved in newsgate scandal and once again a low grade government employee will be made scapegoat.

“Nothing will happen against those who actually are involved in newsgate scandal. Some low grade government employee will be made scapegoat,” Khursheed said this while talking to media here on Wednesday.

He went on saying that Rs 10 billion which were spent in Islamabad in the name of security could not save Canadian diplomat and she was looted.

“There is a statement of Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali khan on newsgate that the ‘state has been dragged on roads in newsleak matter and enemy has been helped’, he remarked.

Imran Khan is a sensible politician and opposition will not be allowed to be divided on the slogan of “Go Nawaz Go”, he observed.

Replying to a question, Shah said that all claims of interior minister regarding law and order in federal capital have been exposed. Rs 10 billion were spent in federal capital in the name of security and even then diplomats are not safe in Islamabad, he added
