LAHORE: Captain of Pakistan cricket team, Sarfraz Ahmad has said that he was looking forward to continue Pakistan’s “winning streak” in upcoming New Zealand (NZ) tour.
Talking to the media in Karachi, Sarfraz termed the NZ tour as “tough one” as it will be in different playing conditions.
Referring towards the Pakistan’s victory in ODI and T20 series against Sri Lanka last month, Sarfraz said his team played well against Sri Lanka, and now they are looking forward to continue the momentum.
Pakistan will visit New Zealand next month to play a series of five ODIs starting from January 6, followed by a series of three T20Is starting from January 22.
Commenting on Karman Akmal’s recent brilliant performances in domestic cricket season, Sarfraz said he is not insecure with anyone’s performance.
“This is Pakistan’s team; anyone, who performs, must be its part,” he added.
Talking about Fawad Alam, he said that fawad would be in action soon.
