LAYYAH: A father has killed five children by poisoning them in Layyah and has later committed suicide over the matter of his divorce with wife in Layyah, Punjab.
Tariq, 45, poisoned to death his five children, including a son and four daughters and later committed suicide.
The deceased were identified as Tayyaba, Tayyab, Saba, Tanzeela, and Shehnaz. They were between five and 15 years.
Tariq’s wife left the children and went to her parents’ house.
Meanwhile, Punjab Chief Minister Shahbaz Sharif has sought a detailed report from authorities concerned.
