These floral lipsticks are changing the make-up game

Author: Daily Times Monitor

Even for the greatest spring enthusiast, the prevalence of cherry blossom snaps on Instagram feeds, the plethora of rose-print dresses in window displays, and, of course, the ubiquity of floral crowns, could call to mind a certain iconic movie line-“Florals?

For Spring? Groundbreaking.” But in the case of Kailijumei’s new floral lipsticks, they just may be.

The small Chinese cosmetics company’s new jelly lipsticks contain real florets. Housed in sleek rose gold tubes, the line of translucent lip shades, which glide on clear before transforming to a bespoke pink based on the wearer’s pH, encase a swirling of gold flakes with a single Brazilian star bud-in shades of deep violet, cerise, blush, or honey yellow-planted at its centre. The best part? These flowers, unlike the hydrangeas, lilacs, and peonies filling our homes, will last long past spring.

You’re about to fall head over heels in love with this lipstick because it’s pure magic. Created by beauty brand Kailijumei, this clear lipstick is infused with jelly, gold specks, and a tiny flower placed right in the centre. It’s basically the glass-encased rose from Beauty & the Beast, the lipstick of your dreams, and it’s taking Instagram by storm.

It’s mesmerising to look at and makes for a pretty dope Insta picture. It imparts a glossy pink tint to your lips that changes colours depending on your body temperature.
