LAHORE: Jamaat-e-Islami chief Sirajul Haq has said that the real message of Rabiul Awwal is to establish the supremacy of the Islamic Shariah all over the world and the enforcement of the all-embracing Nizam-e-Mustafa in Muslim states.

Addressing a big congregation at Mansoora Mosque, he urged the Muslim world to forge unity in its ranks and adopt a joint strategy for the revival of the caliphate system.

“Life of Prophet (PBUH) is a model for the mankind till the doomsday and the last and final Prophet (PHUH) of Allah had given the best system of politics, economy, trade and governance to humanity,” he said, adding: “The Islamic system provides solution to all problems and ailments for all times.”

He went on to say, “Pakistan came into being in the name of Islam but for the last 70 years the country was being ruled by those who had revolted against Allah and were slaves of secular forces.”

He said the enforcement of Islamic principles would help eliminate exploitation, tyranny, immorality, interest-based economy and also the violation of women rights.

“The elite ruling the country consider Islam as the biggest threat to their interests although Islam is the blessing for mankind. Islam disallows maltreatment to others, burning of trees and crops whereas the followers of infidels were even setting living human being on fire.”

Referring to the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women falling today (Saturday), he said: “Islam has given respect and dignity to the womenfolk in the relationship of a mother, a sister and a daughter. On the other hand, the west was exploiting women by projecting them as a market commodity and treating her as a source of advertisement.”
