LAHORE: Thursday night in Lahore witnessed a one-of-a-kind hair and makeup show organised by Masarrat Misbah’s Depilex, a revolutionary pioneer in Pakistan’s beauty and makeup industry.

The year 2017 marks Depilex’s 37th anniversary, and Massarrat Misbah, along with her daughter Redah Misbah, launched the concept of Depilex Reveal to celebrate the success of the renowned beauty salon and training institute.

With empowerment in mind, the showcase was divided into three segments: Bridal Hair & Makeup, Hair Colour, and Avant Garde Hair & Makeup.

As the models walked the ramp sporting the new hairstyles, the audience was left in awe by the work done by the team, each model representing a different technique.

These trends have already made their mark in the international industry and are now a welcome sight in the Pakistani market.

The team did an excellent job of playing with their creativity and create original concepts. The Avant Garde segment stole the show with the crazy hair accessories, the Afro curls, and floor-length braids – all met with a huge round of applause from the audience.

Not only that, the hair colour segment displayed the fashion colour trends with ombrés and colour designing techniques.

It was a star-studded night, which also introduced the 2018 hair and makeup trends as well as Depilex’s new training programmes with international makeup artist Julieta Del Toro and International Platform Educator Saima Khalid.

The objective of the programme was to bring forth an exclusive show with international standards into our industry, ushering Pakistan into a new age of makeup artistry.
