NAB chairman seeks report on appointments allegedly made on fake domiciles

ISLAMABAD: National Accountability Bureau (NAB) Chairman Justice (r) Javed Iqbal has sought report from the Establishment Division secretary of appointments allegedly made on fake domiciles on the quota of Balochistan in various departments of federal government.

Taking notice of recruitments allegedly made in various departments of federal government on fake domiciles of Balochistan, the NAB chairman directed Establishment Division secretary to submit a detailed report, so that further inquiry could be conducted about the issuance of domiciles, imperative to fix the responsibility of the culprits.

The NAB chairman directed the secretary to submit details of persons recruited in various federal and Balochistan government departments under Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan project.

The Establishment Division secretary has been directed by NAB chairman to submit a report about approved posts by the federal Government under Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan. The report should cover how many people had been recruited so far and how many posts were still vacant in Balochistan under Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan, it was advised. The secretary had also been directed to submit reasons for not making recruitments as per the quota allocated under Aghaz-e-Haqooq-e-Balochistan.
