Sindh CM hails arrest of Sehwan shrine blast ‘mastermind’

DADU: Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah has praised security forces for arresting alleged mastermind of Sehwan shrine blast.

Murad Ali Shah was talking to journalists at Bajara Town, in Sehwan on Saturday. He said he was unaware of the resignation of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar and his priority was to carry out development schemes in his constituency and to resolve issues of the public.

He praised efforts of security forces in the arrest of the alleged mastermind behind Sehwan shrine suicide blast.

He said that after Sehwan shrine blast, various security and investigation agencies had worked together against terrorists and terrorism activities.

He said it was the aim of Sindh government to punish the terrorists. He also spoke of the discrepancy between the number of jobs available and candidates looking for jobs, saying that jobs would be given on merit.

He said that Muttahida Quami Movement-Pakistan (MQM-P) and Pak Sarzameen Party (PSP) alliance was broken within 24 hours.

He said that PSP and MQM-P were doing politics of allegation and they should pay attention towards public service.

He said that he was happy after hearing news of the alliance between MQM-P and PSP, but then they started blaming each other after a short period. He said that Dr Asim had resigned from his designation due to personal business. He said that slogan for division of Sindh was old now and Sindh would remain one, not to be divided.

He said that Sindh government will continue its objections over census results which had not been addressed by the federal government yet. Sindh CM was accompanied by Hyderabad Divisional Commissioner Saeed Ahmed Magnijo, DIGP Javid Odho, Jamshoro DC Fariduddin Mustafa, Jamshoro SSP Syed Irfan Ali Bahadur and Sikandar Rahpoto.
