20,000 laptops to be distributed in among students in Rawalpindi Division

RAWALPINDI: The government has decided to distribute laptops among 20000 students of Rawalpindi Division.

During the fourth phase of the program, around 20000 students of Rawalpindi Division would be given laptops under the laptop scheme started by the government.

Over 0.3m laptops worth Rs 20 billion have already been distributed during the three phases across Punjab.

The Punjab Government has purchased over 0.1 million laptops worth Rs 7 billion, so that they could be distributed in the next selected areas, while 2000 laptops would be distributed among in Rawalpindi Division.

According to sources, the Chief Minister Punjab Shahbaz Sharif would launch the fourth phase of scheme in Lahore.
