No unscheduled load-shedding in any part of country: Ministry

ISLAMABAD: Ministry of Water and Power said that there is no unscheduled load-shedding in any part of the country.

In a statement issued in Islamabad on Sunday, the ministry said that the current electricity generation is 13418 MW meanwhile the demand is 15751 MW.

The ministry said that the current electricity shortfall is 2333 MW.

Adding that 4064 MW are being produced by hydel, 2433 MW by GENCOs and 6921 MW by Independent Power Producers.
