LAHORE: Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa has expressed his satisfaction over Pakistan army’s response to Indian ceasefire violations at Line of Control (LoC).

According to a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), COAS visited Headquarters Rawalpindi Corps where he was given a detailed briefing on the prevalent situation along LoC and the operational preparedness of the formations.

“There cannot be any let up for our preparedness for a response against the perpetual threat on our Eastern Border including LOC,” COAS said.

India’s LOC violations have been increased in past few days. Today, the unprovoked firing by Indian forces at LOC claimed the lives of two people.
