Tanzeem-s-Asateza President Sharifullah Afridi said that a number of schools in remote areas of Bazaar Zakha Khel were missing basic facilities such as boundary walls and furniture. Dearth of furniture has compelled students to sit on ground, he said, adding many institutions were lacking washrooms and students had no other option but to go out in the open to answer the call of nature. He said that a judicious system should be established to transfer teachers, who were performing their duties for the last many years, close to their hometowns. He maintained that no proper transport system was available for teachers in remote areas and they were facing difficulties to reach schools. “We have repeatedly conveyed our grievances to officials of Agency Education Office, Jamrud, but of no avail. He requested the authorities concerned to resolve their problems on priority basis so that they could spread light of knowledge without anxiety.
