ISLAMABAD: Ramna Police has arrested a Patwari in the area of sector G-10/4 for not providing his data, attacking and snatching arms from population census team.
According to media reports, Sepoy Muhammad Amjad of Pakistan Rangers told the police that when he along with census team reached the home of Patwari Malik Mukhtar Ahmad in street 74 sector G-10/4 in connection with collection ofdata they were informed that Malik Mukhtar Ahmad was not present in his home. We again went up to his home and we asked him by telephone to get register his data in connection with census. In the meantime he came out of his home and started threatening us saying how we dared to knock at his home for collection of data. He said he is DC office employee and we are working under him. He tried to snatch arms and prevent them from discharging their official duty.
Police have registered the case, arrested the patwari and started investigation.
