ISLAMABAD: Decision has been taken to shift 32 educational institutions of Islamabad into Smart School System (SSS).
Under these project laptops, computers and tablets will be provided to the students of these schools.
The SSS project is being launched under the proposal of federal minister Ahsan Iqbal in federal capital.
In the first phase 32 schools will be transferred to SSS by providing them funds for three years. A committee has been constituted to select the schools and project director has also been appointed for utilization of funds and completion of project in time.
A sum of Rs 630 million has been allocated for this project and Rs 200 million has been released.
