bise Gujranwala announces Intermediate part-1 results

GUJRANWALA: Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BISE) Gujranwala announced the results of intermediate part-1 examination, on Saturday. According to details, 17,533 candidates appeared in the examination, out of which 8,853 were declared successful, a 50.49 pass percentage.

In the sciences group for boys, 5,560 candidates appeared, out of which 2,646 secured passing marks. In the humanities group for boys, 4,473 candidates appeared and 1,862 passed.

In the sciences group for girls, 2,961 candidates appeared and 1,766 achieved passing marks. In the humanities group for girls, 4429 candidates appeared and 2,575 declared successful.

Police officer nabbed: Anti-corruption circle a police ASI accused of receiving bribe from a citizen. It was reported that a citizen had submitted a complaint against police ASI Ashiq Ali, accusing him of demanding a bribe for registering a report’s cross version. Anti-corruption conducted a raid and arrested ASI Ashiq Ali. He was allegedly arrested receiving Rs 30,000 as a bribe.

Suicide attempt: Two women tried to die by suicide by swallowing poisonous pills in Qilla Didar Singh and Fatto Mand. It was reported that both women swallowed poisonous pills due to domestic issues. They were transported to DHQ Hospital for emergency treatment.
