RAWALPINDI: Two Pakistani employees of a Turkish waste management company were shot dead in Rawalpindi on Saturday.
According to eye witnesses, two gunmen opened fire on the Albayrak employees as they were busy cleaning the streets near Nishtar Market, which falls within the jurisdiction of the Sadiqabad Police.
Asif and Saqib died on the spot. Another employee, Shakeel Irshad, was critically injured.
The Sadiqabad SHO said that the deceased had received multiple bullet wounds and had been taken to a nearby hospital for a post-mortem examination.
