Education department to hire 1000 security guards for Rawalpindi government schools

RAWALPINDI: The Punjab Education Department has decided to hire 1000 security guards for the security of various government schools located in Rawalpindi division.

According to sources, the department has given approval to hire 1000 security guards for the protection of new science laboratories and computer labs set-up in various government schools in Rawalpindi Division.

One security guard will be hired for one school, while the security guards positions would be filled by hiring retired personnel from the Pakistan army.

Meanwhile, CCTV cameras would also be installed in all the schools as part of security measures.

The hiring process would be completed before the start of summer vacations, with the process to be completed in one month.
