President Mamnoon appoints Riaz Riazuddin as acting governor SBP

ISLAMABAD: President Mamnoon Hussain has appointed State Bank of Pakistan (SBP) Deputy Governor Riaz Riazuddin as acting governor state bank and Imran Iqbal as Auditor General of State Bank of Pakistan.

Both of these appointments have made on temporary basis and government will have to appoint permanent governor state bank within 3 months.

The post of governor state bank had become vacant just after retirement of Ashraf Wathra on April 29.

Before this Riaz Riazuddin was on the post of Deputy Governor SBP and Haq Nawaz was performing his duty as Auditor general and he was retired just after 20 days on completion of his service.
