Bilawal condemns Quetta attack

KARACHI: Pakistan People’s Party Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Thursday condemned the terrorist attack in Quetta and expressed deep grief and sorrow over the martyrdom of DIG Hamid Shakeel and other police officers.

In a statement, the PPP chairman saluted the martyred officers and soldiers and stressed for national unity to fight the evil of terrorism.

The PPP chairman expressed full solidarity with the bereaved families, adding that his party shared their grief equally.

Separately, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid glowing tribute to Poet of the East Dr Allama Muhammad Iqbal on his 140th Birth anniversary. “He inspired Muslims of the sub-continent through his poetic and philosophical thoughts,” he said in a message.
