LAHORE: United States Ambassador to Pakistan David Hale on Thursday called on Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Qamar Javed Bajwa at General Headquarters, Inter Service Public Relations (ISPR) said.
According to ISPR, matter related to mutual interests and bilateral relations were brought under discussions.
During the meeting, Pak-Afghan border security situation was also discussed. Army chief said that Pakistan had utilised its resources to bring the peace in Afghanistan, adding that it was important for Pakistan than that of any other country.
Separately, the COAS also met with Commander Royal Jordanian Air Force Major General Yousef Ahmed Al-Hanity in GHQ.
According to ISPR, Yousef applauded the Pakistani armed forces efforts to eliminate the terrorism from the country.
