SHIKARPUR: Sukkur Electric Power Supply Company (SEPCO) Shikarpur authorities and Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur have been summoned to the District and Sessions Court Shikarpur over apetition filed against them for an 18-hour long power outage and electricity trip by SEPCO authorities Shikarpur.
According to a statement issued by Shikarpur Bachayo Tehreek, Ali Asghar Pahore, the Chairman Shikarpur Bachayo Tehreek, filed a constitutional petition against SEPCO authorities – including Executive Engineer Shikarpur Muhammad Khan Saho, Sub-Divisional Officer-1 Abdul Samad Umar, Sub Divisional Officer-2 Shahid Hussain Shah, and Deputy Commissioner Shikarpur Syed Hassan Raza – in which the applicant stated that due to the 18 hour prolonged power breakdown, tripping and other atrocities by SEPCO Shikarpur, the people have beenfaced by several hardships. Their businesses have been affected for a long time. The District and Sessions Judge, Suhail Ahmed Laghari, issued notices to SEPCO officers and DC to present themselves before the honorable court on the 4th of May for further proceedings.
